I finally finished basic cakes at culinary school. I learned some new things, but mostly brushed up on the basics. We worked with buttercream and learned different baking techniques in this class. Next January, I will learn how to work with fondant in advanced cakes. It was a lot of fun. Here are a few cakes for your viewing pleasure:
