Owen and Ange
I'm Ange, otherwise known as the Tiny Tyrant. I'm an editor and writer and pastry arts school drop out. My family calls me the tiny tyrant because I'm a little girl who loves things done the right way: My way!

I became interested in cooking a few years ago after meeting my husband. I took a cake decorating class and started baking and decorating cakes as a hobby. Then I started blogging as a way to keep track of recipes. I decided to sign up for pastry arts school and try to make a career out of baking. The economy tanked soon after, and I was forced to quit school and focus on my editing career instead.

While I'm sad it didn't work out the way I had planned, it hasn't stopped me from baking. I plan to go back at some point and finish my degree. I'm addicted to cupcakes and have a dream of opening my own cupcakery one day. It's a big dream and who knows if it'll ever happen, but it's fun to dream. Everyone should have big dreams and follow their hearts!

I live in northeastern Pennsylvania with my husband, Randy, and our two spoiled pups, Owen and Manny. My husband and I love going to Penn State football games, trying new restaurants, and tasting craft beers and wine. Some of my other favorites include: testing new recipes; working out; walking my dogs; reading biographies, cooking magazines, blogs, and old cookbooks; watching too much Food Network and AMC (I love The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad!); and sipping craft brews and wine with good friends. Through my job, I co-authored a few books, including Culinary Careers For Dummies, which was released in 2011.

I hope you enjoy my blog!
